Green Connect started the first ever #PARKHOUR gathering on Twitter last month and are all set for the next one.
Between 2pm and 3pm on March 10th search Twitter using the hashtag #PARKHOUR The hashtag is a way for Twitter to bring in all the content that have used that particular hashtag. It creates a way for you to follow conversations even if aren't connected to the people involved.
If you search #PARKHOUR now you can still see all the conversations and ideas that were involved. Importantly you can then follow the people involved to increase your network of like minded people.
There were lots of different individuals and organisations involved from across the academic world, funding sector, volunteers and parks staff.
On April 14th we will focus on volunteer issues so the #PARKHOUR will start at 7pm in the evening. This also coincides with the SW Parks Conference 2015 the next day.
